Last year, my wife and I adopted a 1.5-year-old Great Pyrenees from a local shelter. He was larger than any dog we’ve ever owned, full of energy, and had been surrendered twice because he was so hard to handle.

When we brought him home, we quickly realized we had bitten off more than we could chew. Our routine was turned upside down, and at times, we felt like giving up. Instead of surrendering, we invested in a two-week professional board and train program. When we picked him up, he was a different dog—calmer, more obedient, and easier to manage. Big challenges require expert solutions, and now he’s the heart and soul of our family.

As Quattro continues to grow in its 21st year, I can’t help but see parallels between this experience and what I’ve learned managing our agency over the last two decades:

• The chaos is part of the journey – Whether it’s raising a dog or growing a business, the early days can feel overwhelming. But I’ve learned that perseverance and patience are key.

• Investing in growth transforms everything – Just as training helped our dog thrive, investing in your team, clients, and yourself is essential. Over the years, we’ve focused on nurturing relationships and fostering development, and it’s paid off.

• Confidence comes with experience – After our dog was trained, everything became easier. Similarly, 20 years of building Quattro has shown me that with the right foundation and tools, confidence grows, and success follows.

So, whether you’re in the early stages of a business, managing a team, or working through challenges with a client, know that the right investments will help you find your way.

Here’s to 20+ years of learning and growth—and many more to come.
