Evolving to better serve members.
Navy Mutual was founded in 1879 to aid families of fallen servicemembers. Today, the organization provides high-quality, low-cost life insurance and annuities to members of all branches of the military and uniformed service. In addition, Navy Mutual gives back to these communities by providing financial education and veteran services at no cost.
Navy Mutual wanted a new website to better serve its Members. And they wanted it in just 60 days. Within 48 hours, a gap analysis and content audit of the current site was underway. Based on this intelligence, a sitemap was developed, site designs started, and persona-driven content soon followed. As development continued and the deadline loomed, client and agency partners worked side by side nailing down the final details.
Fifty-eight days later, the new NavyMutual.org was live. The site tells the story of Navy Mutual’s proud past and promising future. Content includes detailed information about the organization’s financial products, as well as useful information for active duty servicemembers and veterans alike.
In the words of Bruce B. Engelhardt, president and CEO of Navy Mutual, “the new site better reflects our mission of serving those who serve – or have served – our nation.”
